The Woodpecker Damage Control Company's product is a modified portland cement based product. This is modified with high strength polymers and co-polymers that when catalyzed and cured can reach up to 9,280 lbs compression strength hardness, we add special length fiberglass hairs to lock this together to prevent cracking from expansion and contraction, like rebar does for concrete driveways and sidewalks.
Because our product cures so hard and is so strong we can apply it at a thickness that the trim does not loose the detail that was part of the original design to add beauty to the building. Our product also has remarkable adhesive properties and flexible strength making it very well suited for the harsh Florida climate. Our product when properly applied is 100% Fire Proof.
In the application system we first grind down any previous attempts at repairs to smooth out the trims areas and make it uniform in appearance. We then patch any holes and smooth those out also.
We then tape and paper the areas to be protected, we then spray our product on using low air pressure to achieve the desired finish and to be up close and personal with the work. (If it looks great from 2 feet away it will look outstanding from the street.)
We allow this to cure for a few days and then apply a special "loxon" primerment to be applied over hot stucco. Masonry products need to cure at least 25 days for the "PH" level to drop down to 7.8 or the paints will peel off or blister. We then paint these areas to your desired color and then remove the tape and paper and touch up as needed.
We do this total process using our special rigging system as to be less intrusive to the surrounding landscaping. When we finish the trim areas we protected look like new and your property doesn't look like a construction site.
